Workshops for Scout and Guide Groups

Woodwork and craft workshops for all levels of Guide and Scout groups

Looking for a fun woodworking or craft activity for your Rainbows, Beavers, Brownies or Cubs? Then check out our mini-maker sessions and come and make something awesome!

At a mini-maker session for Scouting and Guiding groups kids build a wooden character or car from pre-drilled solid wood components. They learn how to properly sand wood, use a hammer and screwdriver and attach pieces together with screws, dowels and glue. They also have access to a range of hand tools and accessories to bring their vision to life. Once built, it's time to get creative! There's loads of bits and bobs, small scrap wood, colourful wool etc to choose from to make each creation totally customised!

Mini-Maker sessions run for approx. 1.25 hours at a time that suits your group. Please see below for prices and guidance on minimum / maximum numbers of children per workshop.
