Woodworking Courses for Teenagers (age 15 - 17)

Looking for a woodworking course for your older teen?

At Ash & Co. Workshops we welcome older teens aged 15–17 to join our beginner-friendly woodwork courses alongside a paying adult.

These are hands-on, practical courses designed for complete beginners. Teens learn right alongside adults, using proper tools and gaining real woodworking skills in a safe, supportive environment.

We actively encourage young people to learn so are pleased to offer half price tickets for teenagers, age 15 - 17, when attending with a full paying adult (one teen per paying adult). If your teen is keen to learn, please contact us before booking so we can confirm availability and arrange an invoice for you.

 

What courses can teens join?:

Teens (ages 15–17) can attend the following beginner woodwork courses alongside a paying adult:

• Woodwork in a Day: Foundation Skills A hands-on starter course covering sawing, drilling, and making simple joints.

• Woodwork in a Day: Hand Tools & Sharpening Learn how to set up and sharpen hand tools, and put them to use with practical projects.

• Woodwork Experience Day: Make a Chopping Board A relaxed project-based course where you’ll design and create your own chopping board.
