ABOUT THE COURSE:
We’ll start with pre-cut pine pieces and turn them into a sturdy, stylish tool box.
We'll guide you through the step-by-step process, ensuring you learn essential woodworking techniques while enjoying a fun and fulfilling maker experience.
The journey begins with the art of sanding, where we'll teach you the importance of achieving a smooth and flat surface. Armed with top-notch sandpaper, you'll learn how to transform planks into beautifully finished pieces.
Next, we'll delve into shaping the tool box's handle. You will have a go with rasps and files to gently curve the handle under the expert guidance of our instructor, Jonty.
Then, you'll use a cordless drill to pre-drill the holes for the nails to go in.
Once all the components are ready, you will assemble your tool box using glue and clamps. To ensure durability, extra security will be added with carefully placed nails.
A final sand all around and your toolbox is completed.
