Join us for an exciting and hands-on course where two adults, or one adult and one child aged 11 and above, can discover the joy of hand carving their very own personalised coasters from solid oak. This course offers a special opportunity to learn all about carving from a master of the craft and spend quality time with a loved one.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
Adult and children aged 11 and above. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?
This wood carving course runs for two hours.

ABOUT THE COURSE:
Under the expert guidance of Timothy McGin, a master carver with decades of experience, you will learn how to carve your initials onto lovely oak coasters. Each participant will be limited to carving a single initial to ensure focused attention to detail and a high-quality finished product.

Throughout the course, Tim will share his vast knowledge and expertise, teaching essential carving techniques, proper tool handling and best practices. You will work with a variety of carving tools under his guidance, ensuring a safe and engaging experience.

This course is run in our workshop in Crondall, just off the A287 on the Hampshire/Surrey border. We are extremely proud of the Ash & Co workshop and offer a safe and friendly environment that welcomes all ages and genders to share in our passion for making.
