Coronavirus Update
Updated: 25th April 2021
The Government's roadmap out of lockdown seems to be on track, hurray! So we will be reopening our in-person workshops in May. Covid-secure measures will be in place throughout May and June, to be reviewed inline with the guidance.
Dates have now been set for our woodworking and DIY workshops and we are in the process of contacting everyone with an outstanding booking.
Details for mini-maker workshops will follow shortly.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding over the last crazy year. We hope to see you all in the workshop very soon!

The Government's roadmap out of lockdown announced last week gives us a light at the end of the tunnel. However, the workshop falls under stage three - ‘indoor entertainment’ so we are looking at reopening our doors in May.
As the roadmap is cautious and moving through each stage depends on many conditions being met, we have decided not to set dates for spring workshops until it becomes clearer whether the Government's timeline is on schedule.
We will, once again, be in touch with all those booked in for March and April to postpone your workshops.
May seems a long way off still but let's hope that once open we will not be closing again

Sadly the workshop is now closed to the public again until further notice.
If you have a workshop booking that will be affected by the current restrictions we will be in touch with new dates.
Thank you and stay safe,

Having recieved the news that we are in a Tier 2 location we will be opening up our December workshops and following the strict social distancing rules that we had in place before the latest lockdown.
The main difference now is that we can only have one household per bench space. If you are coming to a family workshop and will be sharing a bench space please only attend with members your household bubble.
COVID-Secure Workshops
- There will be a limited number of bench spaces available per workshop.
- You will be shown to your bench space and asked not to move around the workshop unless necessary.
- Adults and children over 12 must bring a face covering and wear it on arrival and when moving around the workshop.
- There will be hand sanitiser available on each bench and hand soap and paper towels in the toilets.
- Each bench space will have a set of tools available for use which will be cleaned thoroughly between each session.
- Aprons – Please note that we will not be providing aprons due to COVID restrictions so please bring your own or wear old clothes.
- Refreshments – We are unfortunately unable to provide refreshments at this time. You are welcome to bring your own soft drinks but please do not bring food into the workshop.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the workshop for some creative respite from the 'real world' this Christmas.
